About Us

If you are looking for an exquisitely beautiful, healthy, affectionate and playful kitten for your home for pet or show, Imperial Star Siamese has just what you are looking for! A CFA registered Cattery and current Cattery of Excellence, Imperial Star Siamese is the originator of two unique color variations in the Siamese breed; milk chocolate points (coats stay white) and navy blue points (coats are pewter in color). With more than 20 years' experience as a breeder, my gorgeous cats and kittens have been featured in Cat Fancy magazine and in numerous cat calendars and artists' illustrations.  I am a hobby breeder - I  love Siamese and do not breed for profit, but for the love these wonderful cats bring to my life. I am an Art teacher by profession so  you can understand why I love the absolute beauty of Siamese and all cats in general. My male (and I only have one) is a milk chocolate named Imperial Star Gazer. We call him Gabby because he always has plenty to say. He is magnificent!!! 

At Imperial Star Siamese, I do not cage any of my cats or kittens.  Kittens are lovingly raised in my "Kitten Nursery", and mothers have free run of the house. Kittens are gently handled and cuddled from the time they are born to the time they are placed with their new families, making them very people friendly cats. I breed wedges, classics and an occasional apple. I have mostly milk chocolates and lilacs, but also have a few navy blues and seals . My personal Vet has bought 5 kittens for himself and family members and his partner has 4 of my babies.

Health Issues

 As responsible breeders, health is a very important consideration. All of our cats and their offspring are given regular veterinary examinations and vaccinations, and are very healthy and free of feline diseases. All kittens are examined by a V.M.D. for any diseases or genetic problems, and are checked for worms and parasites. Kittens that are sold are perfect in every way. All of our kittens come with a health certificate and guarantee as detailed in our sales contract. In keeping with our cattery policy, which adheres to all standards for responsible breeding, we require that all "pet-quality" kittens be spayed or neutered at the appropriate age. This helps us to do our part against the growing problem of unwanted cats and kittens in shelters and rescue, and to help protect the breed from irresponsible breeding.

Our Commitment

Each one of our babies is brought into the world with a great deal of love and care, and we do our best to ensure that this level of care will continue throughout their lives. For this reason, we carefully screen potential buyers to ensure that they will be able to provide a loving, responsible and permanent home for our precious bundles of fur. Prospective buyers  must LOVE cats, and be willing to devote the time and care necessary to keep their baby healthy and safe indoors. A good veterinarian is an absolute must, and all family members must be in agreement about the decision to add a feline member to the family. We are always happy to provide any advice or assistance that may be needed as you adjust to life with your new kitten, and love to keep in touch with our kittens and their families as they grow. We sincerely hope that all of our kitten placements are permanent, however we would welcome a cat or kitten back in the unfortunate event that the new owners are unable to keep it for any reason.
