Cat food manufacturers will come up with “mouse flavored” treats and cat food in an attempt to revive cat’s interest in rodents.
• A new study will reveal that not only are cats more  intelligent than dogs, but that cats actually control dogs, making them “do their bidding”. This news will shed new light on long-held mysteries, such as why dogs are so difficult to house train, and why they bark incessantly whenever so much as a flea farts.
• With the new trend of “teaching cats to use the toilet”, it will become commonplace in cat households for there to be a “cat toilet” in most bathrooms. This kitty commode will be smaller and include a no-slip platform instead of the traditional toilet seat. It will also flush automatically.
